Why join the ranks of the IFL?
IFL membership brings many advantages some of which are as follows:
- As an IFL member you have a "voice" in the direction of the Club
- The club functions in a "democracy" and every vote/voice counts
- You have the means for running for IFL Council, to help organize and direct the Club more directly
- The Council functions under the IFL Charter and is able to institute changes to, and within, the Charter
- You will gain access to the Club coffers for an IFL sponsored Event
- Support of the IFL to run an event under the IFL of your devising
- You will have access to Club owned terrain for multiple game systems
- Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, Necromunda, Battlefleet Gothic, Flames of War, Malifaux, etc.
- You will receive reduced entry fees for Club run Quarterly Tournaments
- You will have access to Club sponsored Leagues with IFL prizes
- A personalized email account on the IFL domain
- Only IFL members will have the exclusive access to create and moderate their own Forums and Sub-Forums, via the Chapter/Group creation process.
- This is especially useful for individual endeavors like organizing Campaigns, Group Workshops, or Road Trips to large tournaments
- IFL members have full access to the Article section, allowing you to write and blog about your hobby
- IFL members that have external blogs can have their feeds integrated directly into the site
- The Article section is integrated directly into social media tools such as Twitter and Facebook helping to expand your voice even further
- You will gain access to hobby related software as it is made available
Perhaps most importantly, being an IFL member makes you a part of something special. The IFL is a group of individuals who consistently provide charitable work and contributions, as well as work to shape and impact their community around them. Many of our members are increasingly active in sponsoring Charity Benefit Tournaments, as well as some of the larger gaming events in the area (Games Day, Nova Open, Adepticon).
IFL Site access
Registration for the site is open to the public and is free.
By registering for the site you will have access to the forums and the social interfaces that the site provides with the above exceptions. Find games, post on the forums, share links, discuss tactics and strategies, have a general good time.
