Anyone out there playing EpicA or NetEpic?  I'm very eager to try out either system.  It seems to be much more...tactical and scenario driven than anything else I've played.  Anyone interested?

Joseph and Paul have messed around with NetEpic. Paul has one metric assload of models. I'm interested in theory, but will be on a weekend play schedule for the forseeable future.

We like NetEpic better as it is closer to the original than the dumbed down Epic40k that almost killed the system. Epic Armageddon is the current official version and is not horrible. I've got Orks and Imperials, Joe has Squats and Imperials.  A few others have stuff but not completed. 

So we lost a bunch of posts right?

Anyway.....What points level do you guys normally play at? I'll be out of town this week, but hopefully someone is up for a game next week or the week after.

The bigger the better! Anywhere from 4k-8k for NetEPIC. NetEPIC Gold is out now. There should be few major changes. It is probably better to start smaller for training purposes. Come up with a list. Let us know what it is. I'll run either Orks or DA.

NetEPIC looks like a very good rule set to me.

Sounds good to me. I'll make up a list and post it. Probably squats, since I have a bunch of them painted.

Its 2200 total. I can do many more points than that, but it seems like a good starting point to get a hang of the system. Seems to include one of each 'type'. Infantry, artillery, flyer and preatorian

Where are you guys looking to play? I'd love to watch a couple games...

How does tuesday at GPW work for a game? I don't have much epic terrain yet, but I can bring what I have.

Yes, we did. There appears to be a flux in the Warp! I have terrain. GPW? I have not been there in some time. I don't know what the table situation is.

The posts weren't lost, they were just made on the old site. The DNS wasn't updated correctly and I'm working on it. Sorry.

Great game. I can think of a few things we may have done wrong (not scattering templates, flyers can't claim objectives, etc...). I'll be painting, let me know when you're up for another game. If you want to try Epic, I have some minis you can use Chris.

Yeah, great game.Those Blimps are murder! I don't think that the templates scater unless you fire indirect.

Who would have guessed the blimps were that killy?
